N0ZTRADAM'IAN Prescription 27: Throwback Tunes - Zedd and his German Electro House

Welcome back to the prescription, hey check it out we got some new visuals. From now on you will be able to preview what artists are going to be in the post just by checking out the image. If you haven't guessed today's throwback tunes post is all about Zedd:

"Shotgun" - Zedd {Electro House}
-Released as a single [OWSLA]

"Clarity" - Zedd (ft Foxes) {Electro House}
-Released with Clarity [Interscope]

"Shave It" - Zedd {Electro House}
-Released with Shave It - The Aftershave (Remixes) EP [OWSLA]

"Spectrum" - Zedd (ft Matthew Koma) {Electro House}
-Released with Clarity [Interscope]

"Alive" - Empire Of The Sun (Zedd remix) {Electro House}
-Released with Alive (Remixes) EP [The Sleepy Jackson Pty Ltd & Nick Littlemore /  EMI Music Australia Pty Ltd]

Today we take into the recent pursuits of Electro House genius and one of my favorite artists Zedd. Before we take a look at these songs I'd suggest you head on over to one of my other prescriptions and seek out Zedd's newest hit Stay The Night ft Hayley Williams.

We start off with a very obscure track by Zedd, shotgun. While it isn't hugely popular as some of his other hits are, shotgun is a great starting place for this post. We get to hear some of his signature big hit electro beats and melodies.

Next up is Zedd's massive Clarity, combining an absolutely crazy good melody with superb vocals performed by Foxes, Clarity is still one of the best songs by the German wonderkind. Its got a big room feel and is really fun to listen to, singing along is also a breeze.

Right on into the complete opposite of the breezy Clarity, we have Shave It. With the hilarious mix of snappy vocal snippets and a hard bassline Shave It, in my opinion, truly brings out the electro in his electro house. Its probably the tune you would find many listeners jumping around to.

Another big hit released with the Clarity album is of course Spectrum featuring Matthew Koma. With awesome vocals, a huge beat and absurd electro house melodies it, even to this day, lives up to why I listened to it for weeks on end in the summer. An excellent song to be sure.

We end with a remix of Alive by Empire Of The Sun (Everyone seems to be remixing them). Zedd flips the tune on its head, speeds up the beat, adds in electro twists on the melodies and overall makes the original that much better. Not to mention that he kept the original vocals in there, which always get points in my book.

And there we go, a look into German Electro House producer Zedd, hopefully you enjoyed the music and maybe even the new visuals. Theres a new image for the top 20 DJ's page as well, so go check it out. Other than that see you tomorrow for a bunch of new tunes.
N0ZTRA out, listen well.

N0ZTRADAM'IAN Prescription 26: Throwback Tunes - Starlight, Arty, Bingo Players classic and some Monstercat

Welcome back to another throwback tunes post, today we have some Don Diablo, Arty and Bingo Players plus a few others, enjoy :

"Starlight (Could You Be Mine)" - Don Diablo & Matt Nash {Progressive House}
-Released as a single [Axetone]

"Take Me Away (Grand Finale)" - Arty (ft Fiora) {Progressive House}
-Released as a single [Ministry Of Sound / Disco:wax / Sony Music Entertainment]

"To The Sun" - Hot Date! & Chrisson (ft Roufaida) {Drum & Bass}
-Released with Monstercat 011 - Revolution [Monstercat]

"Forever" - Rogue {Electronic}
-Released with Monstercat 013 - Awakening [Monstercat]

"Renegade VIP" - The Qemists (ft Maxsta) {Electronic}
-Released with Renegade - EP [Ninja Tune]

"Cry (Just A Little)" - Bingo Players {Electronic}
-Released as a single [SPINNIN' Records / Hysteria / Disco:wax / Sony Music Entertainment Denmark]
Lets get right into why these songs deserve to be here and why you should add them to your playlist.

You may have heard this song kicking around out there and maybe you've heard the new remix that's also recently come out. Starlight had huge staying power back when I first heard it in august, it has beautiful vocals and an amazing melody/beat breakdown. Its one of my all-time favorite songs, Don Diablo hit the ball out of the park with this one.

Arty was probably the first electronic music artist that I revered, I listened to everything he had and at that point said he was my favorite EDM artist out there. When he teased Take Me Away (Grand Finale), I did not stop listening to it for maybe a month. Combining a huge beat, beyond awesome melodies and a vocal track to die for it really is a great. I could listen to it on repeat (I might have already at some point).

Bringing together a sick vocal track, great drums and excellent melodies Hot Date! & Chrisson created something truly unique. With an oddly spacey leadup, to the moving breakdown To The Sun does indeed deserve top marks and a place in at least my own playlist (of which it has a spot).

Onto Rogue. Of all the Monstercat artists Rogue is probably the most widely recognized ( I personally have tastes for Mr Fijiwiji and Rameses B). With Forever, Rogue weaves in a euphoric melody sequence, haunting vocals and a great beat, its a big tune. Just a note, he has a big album coming out soon, check it out.

The oldest song on the list today, Renegade brings together that unique bassline and the electronica-esque vocal snippet. This song was a big part of my daily listening back around the beginning of the year and you may wanna give it a try to. Forget about its age, The Qemists quirky tune will always be a classic for me.

Speaking of classic, lets talk Cry (Just A Little) by Bingo Players. If you say you've never heard this song, I hate to say it but you're lying. With great vocals, a classic melody and a sweet beat it should already be in your music folder and if not remedy that right now.

And that's all we have for today folks, see you on Thursday for another throwback tunes.

N0ZTRADAM'IAN Prescription 25: Dirty South EP, Calvin Harris on the remix and some Dada Life

Welcome back from the weekend, hopefully you enjoyed yourself and are prepared for some new music. Today we have a mix of new house tunes and some remixes by the biggest names in EDM. This post also contains three tracks from Dirty South's new EP Speed Of Life, enjoy:

"Adrenaline" - Lush & Simon {Progressive House}
-Released with Talent Revealed Vol. 2 [Revealed Recordings]

"Speed Of Life" - Dirty South {Electronic}
-Released with his Speed Of Life EP [Phazing]

"Your Heart" - Dirty South (ft Joe Gil) {Electronic}
-Released with Speed Of Life EP [Phazing]

"Champions" - Dirty South {Electronic}
-Released with Speed Of Life EP [Phazing]

"DNA" - Empire Of The Sun (Calvin Harris remix) {Electronic}
-Released with DNA (Remixes) EP [Sleepy Jackson Pty Ltd &Nick Littlemore / EMI Recorded Music Australia Pty Ltd]

"So High So Young" - Dada Life {Electro House}
-Released with The Rules Of Dada EP [So Bleeped AB / Universal Music AB]

"To The Rhythm" - Jay Cosmic {Electro House}
-Released for free on SoundCloud, get it now.

Lets get talking:

Lush & Simon's new track Adrenaline has an awesome melody and a great set of buildups and drops which are becoming the calling card of new dance music. It hits hard and I for one am a huge fan of the elctro riff coming right off of the drop.

Moving straight into Dirty South's most recent new album. The First track that I love from the EP and have chosen to put on this post is Speed Of Life, the title track. With deep euphoric melodies and a nice snare drum sample it shows that not all good electronic songs need huge beats and drops. (Although it does contain one). Next up comes Your Heart, ft Joe Gils, which takes a different tack from Speed Of Life, bringing in vocals and leaving off of the euphoric melodies. Using moving beats and a great melody Dirty South did a great job with this track. And finally, Champions, the final track I love from his new Ep. Taking a while to build to full awesomeness Champions has a sick melody and one of the best new beats that I've listened to recently. The final buildup is also pretty nice.

Moving on to a remix by Calvin Harris of DNA by Empire Of The Sun. Keeping its original vocals and some of the melodies, Harris adds in an uptempo beat and a new breakdown in between the vocals. Its been out for some time but I've only recently come to realize just how great a song it is.

Ah, Dada Life bringing the fun to our lives. With their relatively old So Young So High  they definitely bring the fun. With a crazy breakdown containing an up-pitched vocal sequence and a huge beat So Young So High definitely should bring out the party in any group of people.

Our final track of the day comes from Jay Cosmic with To The Rhythm. Containing a huge drop, smooth melodies and a great beat it is definitely worth at least one listen if not a download. It is free so there's really no reason why not.

And there we have it, check in tomorrow for a throwback tune post specializing in not a whole lot. Make sure to follow my twitter for updates on new posts and happenings to do with the blog. As well as that check out our Facebook and perhaps leave a like to get updates as well.

N0ZTRADAM'IAN Prescription 24: Angello, Afrojack, Diplo, Kaskade and some newcomers hit the list

Welcome to the final post of this week, today we step back into the world of EDM for some fresh new tunes to get your weekend started. Enjoy:

"Count On Me" - Chase & Status (ft Moko) (Steve Angello remix) {House}
-Released with Count On Me (Remixes) [ft Moko] EP [Chase & Status / Mercury Records]

"Elastic Heart" - SIA (ft The Weeknd & Diplo) {Pop}
-Released with The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) [Universal Republic Records / UMG Recordings]

"Last Chance" - Kaskade & Project 46 {Progressive House}
-Released with Atmosphere (Deluxe Edition) [Ultra Records]

"The Spark" - Afrojack (ft Spree Wilson) (Afrojack Club Edit) {Progressive House}
-Released as a single [Van Der Wall International Ltd / PM:AM Recordings / Universal Music BV / Island Def Jam]

"We Are Together" - Planet Of Sound {House}
-Dunno where you can find it, may not be released yet. Sometime soon on Armada.

"Gore Bass Machine" - Voltage {Electro Bass}
-Released for free on Soundcloud, get it now.

"Collateral" - MickMag & JustBob {Electro House}
-Released as a single [Big & Dirty (Be Yourself Music)]

And there we go, as I stated a few days back I'm trying to put more musical content onto this blog and so you'll notice that there are now 7 tracks per post. Don't worry however there is plenty to come and as always new tracks are released every day. Just a heads up before I go into some commentary, If you missed yesterday's post it was all about Flosstradamus and Zeds Dead, two major players in North America's Trap scene. I suggest you go back and check that out.

Chase & Status once again hits this blog but this time riding the coattails of master DJ and artist Steve Angello of Swedish House Mafia fame. With the original Count On Me bringing perfect vocals and a superb guitar melody mixed with a great beat, Angello adds to the mix. He manages to make a classic from C&S even better with some surprising remixed melodies and fine tuning to the overall beat and progression.

The next song up may not strike you as an electronic song, but it scoots itself into this lineup thanks to Diplo and his electronic background melody and beat work. Don't get me wrong SIA and The Weeknd's vocals are crazy good but without the electronic work by the American star I wouldn't consider this electronic.

Another great vocal track by superstar artists Kaskade and Project 46, Last chance has a great melody, a superb vocal track and has awesome progressions and beats. Kaskade also makes its well deserved debut on this blog.

The newest masterpiece from top artist Afrojack takes a different tack to his usual style. Surprisingly Afrojack brings in a full vocal track to encompass almost the entirety of the song. Deciding to slow the tempo and create superb melodies, whether you go for the Original Mix or Afrojack's Club Mix The Spark truly hits the mark.

The next song happens to be the one of the biggest songs to come out of The Itunes Festival in London, England that happened on the 30th of September this year. One of the chillest house tracks I've seen in awhile (apart from deep house), new artists Planet Of Sound do a great job. This song could easily be played in any atmosphere and get people to quiet down and listen.

Of course after that chill track we need to get the blood flowing again right, cue Gore Bass Machine. Bringing , as its name suggests, a great bassline, some superb house melodies and of course a drop to be expected of any song with a name containing gore. Voltage does a great job with this one.

Another House excellency coming from the underground this one is titled Collateral and is put together by MickMag and JustBob. Bringing banging beats and a melody that would be home in any hardstyle or dubstep track.

Hopefully that gets your weekend started off right, remember to check back at the trap throwback I posted yesterday and come back for Monday's dose of new tunes.

This post is gonna be filled with songs by Zeds Dead as well as Flosstradamus, two of the front runners in the north american trap scene. I'm sure there will be more from them hitting this blog soon, lets do it:

"Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" - Nina Simone (Zeds Dead Remix) {Electronic}
-Released as a single [Verve]

"Rollup" - Flosstradamus (Baauer remix) {Trap}
-Released with Fool's Gold Clubhouse, Vol 2 [Fool's Gold Records]

"By Your Side" - Zeds Dead {Bass}
-Download for free on soundcloud, get it now.

"Trouble" - Zeds Dead {Electronic}
-Released with Hot Sauce EP [Mad Decent]

"Pillz" - Flosstradamus & Yellow Claw (ft Green Velvet) {Trap}
-Released as a single [Fools Gold / Ultra Music]

There we go, lets talk about these songs.

With an absolutely amazing vocal track as the baseline, Zeds Dead create one of my favorite remixes to date. Adding to Nina Simone's excellent track the bass and beats Zeds Dead truly do a great job with this one.

Probably one of my favorite straight up trap songs, Rollup brings together awesome vocal snippets as well as some great sounds to a sick beat and melody. Flosstradamus is currently one of my all time favorite trap duo's hitting north american decks.

Another interesting song by Zeds Dead, with great vocals a downtempo beat and superb melodies, By Your Side is a truly amazing track.

With an odd melody and the single vocal sequence Trouble brings out another side of Zeds Dead altogether. The beat put together with the grungy melody makes this song a classic.

The newest from Flosstradamus, Pillz is probably the best representation of new age trap on this post. Mixed with a crazy melody and an awesome vocal track Pillz shows why Flosstradamus deserve their huge audience in North America. The drop on this track is beyond awesome, Don't Think About Those Little Pillz.

N0ZTRADAM'IAN Prescription 22: Throwback Tunes - David Guetta, Afrojack, Martin Garrix and Showtek show their wares

Ok sorry about missing yesterdays post, had some other things to do but that really doesn't matter cause here is the post. Lets get right into the music:

"Ain't A Party" - David Guetta & Glowinthedark (ft Harrison) {Electro House}
-Released as a single [Jack Black Records /  WEA International Inc]

"Yubaba" - Afrojack {Electronic}
-Released with Its A Matter Of... [Wall Recordings / PM/AM Recordings/Universal Music BV]

"Animals" - Martin Garrix {Subkick}
-Released as a single [SPINNIN' Records BV / Silent/Republic Records]

"Its A Matter Of..." - Afrojack {Electronic}
-Released with Its A Matter Of... [Wall Recordings / PM/AM Recordings/Universal Music BV]

"Booyah" - Showtek (ft We Are Loud & Sonny Wilson) {House}
-Released as a single [SPNINNIN' Records]

"My Head Is A Jungle" - Wankelmut & Emma Louise {Techno House}
-Released on My Head Is A Jungle (Remixes) [Modernsoul / B1M1 Recordings Lda]

And there you have it, a postponed throwback tunes post.Lets talk about why these songs are above and why they are of note.

David Geutta hits this list, with a relatively awesome song with Glowinthedark and featuring Harrison. The song has great vocals and the usually smooth melodies and beat we can assume would come from the master dj.

Afrojack is represented here with two tracks from his Its A Matter Of.... album. Yubaba comes with a sick melody and his usual style of bouncing beats and melodies. The title track of his album also comes with the bouncing beats but puts a bit of a swerve on his other track. Both manage to get the blood pumping.

Up next comes a tune with huge staying power, just recently becoming huge on the edm scene. Martin Garrix's Animals has a superb beat, great lead-ups and drops of crazy intensity. Jumping is one of the many symptoms of this track, enjoy it.

Another big one, Booyah brings the dancefloor vibes almost as much as Animals does. Showtek hit the homerun with this track, it has an amazing vocal sequence and adds to it with unbelievable beats and melodies.

We end off with a house track by Wankelmut & Emma Louise. My Head Is A Jungle has great vocals an amazing overall melody and the beat puts the finishing touches on a well put together track.
Done and done, hopefully you enjoyed the songs and I'll see you tomorrow with a Trap music post.

N0ZTRADAM'IAN Prescritption 21: Gold Earthquakes Help Kings on Rollercoaster's give Mercy to Pompeii

Welcome back from the weekend, today is, as per usual, a new track day. Not only that but I'm also reverting back to the original style of these posts, just cause. So lets get right into it:

"Gold" - Adventure Club (ft Yuna) {Electronic}
-Released as a single [Adventure Club / BMG Rights Management (US) LLC]

"Earthquake" - DJ Fresh & Diplo (ft Dominique Young Unique) (Delta Heavy remix) {Trap/Bass}
-Released with the album of the same name [Ministry Of Sound Recordings]

"Help Me Lose My Mind" - Disclosure (ft London Grammar) {Electronic}
-Released with Disclosure's Settle EP [Universal Island Records / Universal Music Operations Ltd]

"The New Kings" - Vicetone vs Popeska (ft Luciana) {House}
-Free download, grab it here

"Rollercoaster" - Skream (ft Sam Frank) (Jimmy Edgar remix) {Sleaze}
-Will be realeased as a single on the 27th of oct [Ammunition Promotions Ltd / UMO]

"Pompeii" - Bastille (Kat Krazy remix) {Dancepop}
-Released with Pompeii (Remixes) EP [Virgin Records]

"Mercy" - Kanye West (RL Grimes & Salva remix) {Trap}
-Released for free on soundcloud, click the widget

I've been contemplating making these posts larger with more music due to the large backup I have on my end. So for at least this week expect more music. Today is definitely a weird one, the tracks are so varied and all of them cater to a certain musical audience. Lets get talking:

We start today with a track from Canadian duo Adventure Club. Gold features the impressive vocals of Yuna and brings Adventure Club's unique euphoric style of electronic music. Its chorus melody and underlying beat are a major factor in why this song is so good.

The next track is relatively old, being released a few months ago, but it still deserves a place on the blog. Diplo & DJ Fresh, along with Dominique Young Unique, create an impressive orginal mix but with the heavy beats of Delta Heavy added it just gets so much better.

Onto Disclosure and London Grammar's new hit Help Me Lose My Mind. With their classic airy melodies and bouncing beat Disclosure excellently blend in Hannah Reid's amazing voice and create a great tune. Although it wouldn't satisfy any hardcore bass lover this track definitely hits the sweet spot.

Vicetones remix of Popeska's The New Kings definitely delivers the goods. With a banging beat and superb melodies Vicetone mixes on of my favorite new house remixes. Luciana's perfect vocals don't hurt either.

This next tune has been sitting on my backburner for a while now and since I can't wait any longer I'm posting it up before its release date in 6 days. Bringing together the smooth melodies and beats of a disco-esque tune Jimmy Edgar totally makes Skream's original track better. One of the odder tracks on today's list for sure.

Kat Krazy again hits the blog with another remix but this time from English band Bastille's Pompeii. The track is deceiving starting out with the original vocals and then moving straight into a dubstep like drop. I'm a fan of this track because it has excellent vocals and its hard not to love that drop and bass.

 And with that Dancy tune we transition straight into trap electronic. RL Grime (more widely known as Clockwork for his house music) along with Salva put together a trap remix of Kanye West's Mercy. Bringing with them the classic trap sounds and a sick baseline. The track also benefits from keeping Kanye's original lyrics and some of the more notable sounds.

There we go, a veritable grab bag of musical genres. Today should satisfy your fix of house, electro, dance, disco, remixes and trap. Enjoy and I'll see you tomorrow with a throwback tunes post.

N0ZTRADAM'IAN Prescription 19: Throwback Tunes - Summertime Sadness plus other songs.. what else do you need

Holy crap what happened to the site? Okay enough with the fake awe-struck-ism, I've been told to tone it down with the over sensationalism. From now on I will condense my blurbs to a single sentence, use terms that the general public would understand and avoid terms like "bangers, DJ, dance floor, huge, crazy, head bangin, twerking, drinking, trap, awesome and superb."

So with that out of the way lets get to the music:

"Rock U Tonite" - Wave Racer {House}
-Released with Rock U Tonite - Stoopid - Single [Future Classic]

"Wild" - Jessie J (Cosmic Dawn remix) {Remix}
-Dunno where to find it and its not on soundcloud...

"Monkey In Love" - Tommy Trash {Electro House}
-Released as a single [SIZE reccords]

"Tremble" - Vicetone {Progressive House}
-Released as a single [Protocol Recordings]

"Out Of My Mind" - Bingo Players {Electro}
-Released as a single [Hysteria / SPINNIN' records Nl]

"Summertime Sadness" - Lana Del Rey (Cedric Gervais remix) {Electro Trance}
-Released as a single [Lana Del Rey / Polydor Ltd / Interscope Records USA]

There we go, lets talk.

Rock U Tonite...Flumes record label..... melodic and chill.

Remix of Wild by Jessie J....can't be found anywhere....pretty cool...done by cosmic dawn.

Tommy Trash classic....has to do with monkeys, beats and melodies.

Awesome, superb and banging track from Vicetone....nice.

Sweet electro beat from Bingo Players...has some vocals + melodies.

Biggest song of the past few months....listened to every hour of the day....Lana Del Rey...and Cedric Gervias...wow. Check out his "Young And Beautiful" remix, its gonna be HHHHUUUUGGGGEEEE.

N0ZTRADAM'IAN Prescription 18: Throwback Tunes - Bangers, some trap and even a bit of hardstyle

Welcome back to another post, today's post goes a little something like this:

"Champs" - Moguai {Progressive House}
-Released as a single [SIZE Records]

"Tsunami" - DVBBS & Borgeous {Big Room House}
-Released as a single [Doorn / SPINNIN' Records]

"Manslaughter VIP" - Lets Be Friends {Electro}
-Released with Monstercat 014 - Discovery [Monstercat]

"Feel So Good" - Noisecontrollers {Hardstyle}
-Released with Scantraxx 126 - Single [Scantraxx]

"Love Me Again" - John Newman (Max Sanna & Steve Pitron club mix) {Progressive House}
-Released as a single [Universal Island Records / Universal Music Operations Limited]

"You & Me" - Disclosure (ft Eliza Doolittle) (Baauer remix) {Trap}
-Released as a single [Universal Island Records / Universal Music Operations Limited]

Done and Done, enjoy these ones guys and gals.Now lets talk about things (melodies + melodies +melodies... what).

Champs was a relatively recent track from artist Moguai and it certainly hits the right beat. Bringing in a fast beat, nice vocal sequences and an awesome melody its a great dance track.

Huge.... If you haven't heard Tsunami on the dance-floor your dj is doing something wrong. Easily one of my favorite new bangers Tsunami could get anyone on their feet. DVBBS & borgeous bring together one of the craziest drops in a while with an amazing beat and melody. What more can we ask for.... TSSSSUNAMIIII.

Manslaughter VIP may hit you as a weird track and to my eyes that's what makes it interesting. It has a great melody and once it picks up pace it really rolls out the punches. Plus (very much like Tsunami) it has a dope drop with a great vocal attached.

Ahh hardstyle, always the loner on this blog. But due to Noisecontrollers use of vocals and an interesting melody even I can get over the continuous banging beat. (It may be growing on me, we'll see soon enough)

Love Me Again has everything I would want in a house track: John Newman on the vocals, a superb beat and an awe inspiring melody. Definitely one to pick up.

This one caught my eye a while ago, mainly due to the vocal sequence stuffed between the trap melody and beat. Baauer, as per usual, hits the right notes and brings in another great remix. (There may be a resurfacing of this track later... for some reason)

And there we have it, a look into the past. Hopefully you enjoyed our little trip. See you on thursday.
N0ZTRA out, listen well.

N0ZTRADAM'IAN Prescription 17: Brand New Machine & KOTEM + More

Welcome back to a regular posting schedule. Today as always is a new song post so, we basically skipped the throwback on Friday. Well whatever lets get right into it.

"Lost & Not Found" - Chase & Status (ft Louis M^ttrs) {Electronic}
-Released as a single [Chase & Status / Mercury Records Limited]

"International" - Chase & Status (Skrillex remix) {Trap}
-Released with C&S's Brand New Machine (Deluxe Version) [Chase & Status / Mercury Records Limited]

"Kick Out The Epic Motherfucker" - Dada Life {Electro House}
-Released with The Rules Of Dada [So Much Dada]

"Come On" - Gregori Klosman & Wahlstedt {Electro House}
- Released as a single [GURU recordings]

"Visible" - Danny Darko & Dionne Lightwood (Non octo remix) {Progressive House}
-Dunno where you can find this.

And there we are, lets talk music (didn't neglect it this time did I)

Today we have two Chase & Status tracks because they just recently released a new album, of which you should soon own. I can say that I enjoy many of the tracks that have been slated to appear in Brand New Machine. As for Lost & Not Found, it is simply an amazing drum and bassy song with brilliant vocals and melodies. The chorus is also really catchy and addictive to sing.

I had originally wanted the original version of International but I couldn't find a Soundcloud track so we'll have to deal with the Skrillex remix. Either way the track is awesome (with or without the trap remix).

\Now here's a song that is sooo addictive, the chorus of Kick Out The Epic Motherfucker is so fun to listen to. Mixing awesome vocals, amasing melodies and a huge beat KOTEM is a classic in my opinion. Now go kotem yourself.

The next track is an obscure one, Come On has a sick beat and melody and so it makes this post. Its also a huge banger so if you need some calf exercise press that play button.

Visible was put out for a remix competition and unsurprisingly Non Octo got the first prize for this execellant remix. Combining the originals superb vocals with a remixed melody and beat it definitely holds its own against the other songs posted here today.

That's all folks, see you again tomorrow for some throwbacks. Hopefully today's post got you all back into your post thanksgiving schedule. More to come.

N0ZTRA out, listen well.

N0ZTRADAM'IAN Prescription 15: Throwback Tunes - The Club life, Madeon 's culture and one Example

Here we are again, another Tuesday and another throwback tunes post. Today's post, unlike some others doesn't have a specific artist or genre theme. I just packed together a few good songs and decided to create a post. So lets do it:

"I Love It" - Icona Pop (ft Charli XCX) (Tiesto's Club Life remix) {Electro House}
-Released with Tiesto's Club Life, Vol 3 - Stockholm EP [Musical Freedom]

"Burn" - Ellie Goulding (Tiesto's Club Life remix) {Electro}
-Released with Burn (Remixes) [Polydor Ltd (UK)]

"All The Wrong Places" - Example {Electronic}
-Released as a single [Sony Music Entertainment UK Limited]

"Technicolor" - Madeon {Electro House}
-Released as a single [Popcultur / Columbia]

"Pop Culture" - Madeon {House}
-Released no-where, mainly because its a mashup of other songs

And there we have it. Lets talk:

Today is the day of Tiesto remixes with two of his most recent and biggest remixes hitting the list. The first is of Icona Pop's wildly popular song I Don't Care. The original of this track was awesome but when put to a sped up tempo and house beats it really goes into overdrive. This is probably being played in mixes around the world right now.

Onto another big name song remixed by Tiesto, this one being Burn by Ellie Goulding. Another case of the original being extraordinary. But as with above when Ellie's stunning vocals are put to electro vibes and a higher tempo beat the song just becomes so much better.

Here's an oddity to the general on this blog. This track, All The Wrong Places by Example, sounds very much like any other EDM track but it does hide several dissimilarities. One example of this is that the vocals continue all the way through the song as if were any other genre but with a house beat and melody underlying it. Either way this song is a blast and should definitely join any one your playlists.

 Onto Madeon with his awesome electro melodies and huge sweeping choruses. He manages to get my heart beating every time I hear a track (even without vocals... how). Technicolor is his newest track and it truly packs a punch, bringing together his notable style of melodies, huge beats with a fast tempo and glitchy notes.

And finally onto the last track of the day. This ones a mashup of 39 songs that have encompassed pop culture for the past few years and beyond. Started as a pet project by Madeon and never fully released I consider it to be a fully formed track and listen to it every time I need a shot of Madeon infused remixing. How can one not love the way he mixes some of the most popular songs of the past and puts them into an inspired house beat.

So there we have it, not to much here, just a few great songs. Tomorrow is a day off then we are back on Thursday for another throwback tunes. Just a note something awesome may be come up soon so make sure to check back for that.

N0ZTRADAM'IAN Prescription 14: Remixes, Anthems and Looking at chase's

Welcome to a new week and another prescription. Today's post contains 6 tracks rather than the normal five simply because. (It may be due to the first two tracks being remixes of the same song) Lets get right into it:

"Applause" - Lady Gaga (Purity Ring remix) {Electronic}
-Released with Applause (Remixes) EP by Lady Gaga [Interscope records]

"Applause" - Lady Gaga (Fareoh remix) {Electronic}
-Released with Applause (Remixes) EP by Lady Gaga [Interscope records]

"Look Closer" - Morten (David Tort remix) {Electro House}
-Released with Morten's Look Closer (Remixes) EP [PRMD music]

"Ocarina" - Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike (ft Wolfpack) {House}
-Released as a single [Smash The House]

"Chasing Time" - Vicetone (ft Daniel Gidlund) {House}
-Released as a single [Armada Music]

"Radioactive" - Imagine Dragons (dBerrie remix) {House}
-Good luck finding this, its restricted where I am so ....

And there we have it tons of songs to last you for not to long, invisible readers who don't exist.
Lets have a one-sided conversation about these tracks.

Ahh remixes, bringing together the best bits of an original song and twisting those elements into a totally different concept. Its quite lovely. As for these two remixes they both go in separate directions but both are also amazing in their own right. You choose which is better.

Onto another remix, but this time of a different track. Wielding wonderful vocals, a sweet baseline and a superb melody both Morten and David Tort get top marks for this one. Its a combination of beats and a chorus of vocals and melody.

The heavy hitter today is the TomorrowWorld Anthem: Ocarina by superstar brothers Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike. Since TomorrowWorld is only recent memory its natural this song should appear here. This song is epic and achieves everything I would have set as goals for it. It has a great melody, huge beats and a particularly nice glitch sequence (glitchy in some sense).

A new one from Vicetone as well, Chasing Time takes a different tack from other Vicetone songs and brings in vocals. The melody and beat as usual usher in a great pace and the vocals complete the package. You definitely will see a lot of Vicetone here on this blog.

Finally we have an Imagine Dragons Remix with a House tilt. This remix saves the original vocals as well as the underlying melody that made the original a hit but adds House vibes to it. If you jammed to the first one but prefer a more electronic radioactivity this song may be for you.

And there we are, cest fini. See you tomorrow for a throwback tunes post containing a bit of tiesto, madeon and one other producer of mysterious origin.

N0ZTRADAM'IAN Prescription 13: Hardstyle, some Twerking and a blast from the past

Welcome back folks, today is another day of new tracks from the forefront of EDM music. So without much further ado lets get right into it.

"Reverie" - Marcus Schossow (Micheal Calfan remix) {House}
-Released a a single (which includes the remix) [Axetone Records Limited]

"Feel The Love" - Rudimental (ft John Newman) (D-Block & S-Te-Fan remix) {Hardstyle}
-Released for free on Soundcloud, get it now

"Twerk Anthem" - Tony Junior {Electro House}
-Released as a single [SPINNIN' Records]

"That Big" - Yves V & Blasterjaxx {Electro House}
-Released as a single [SPINNIN' Records]

"HyperParadise" - Hermitude (Flume remix) {Electronic}
-Released with Hermitudes Parallel Paradise EP [Elefant Tracks]

Now here we are at the end of another week with five (relatively) new tracks to talk about, so lets get right into it.

Reverie is indeed an interesting track, it combines a wonderful choir vocal snippet with wonderfully put together melodies and a very trance-esque beat. By far the Micheal Calfan remix takes it to a new level and adds wonderful electronic power to this great song.

Now here's a rare one, a hardstyle track. While I don't outright hate the genre I'm not that particularly fond of it. But this remix brings together the best of both worlds, with an electronic base produced by Rudimental and a Hardstyle over-work by D-Block S-Te-Fan. If you enjoy both genres this is a must have remix, plus John Newman is awesome.

Don't mind the name Twerk Anthem is anything but a heavy hitting Trap or R&B track. With an amazing recurring  melody mixed in with a great beat this track hits all the notes. I even get a hint of Hardstyle in there god forbid.

Whoa is this song really That Big, it is indeed, Yves V hits this blog for his second time and he brings with him a wonderful track. The song infuses a particularly great melody made with synths and some huge beats that would get anyone on their feet.

Now onto a huge favorite of mine. This track is not really new but I recently re-discovered it and so it appears here on my list. Lets go back in time, a year to be exact and talk about this track. When I was first getting into EDM this was on a mix that I basically listened to religiously for the good part of a month. It was a mix by Adventure Club (a superb Canadian producing duo) and I still have it on my playlist. Along with others this was one of the songs that got me into this diverse genre of music and I still find it refreshing today (both the song and the genre).
What else is there to say about this song, nothing, its a masterpiece and it shows off exactly what Flume is capable of. Sometime in the near future I'm gonna do a special on Flume so stick around for that.

Other than that I hope you all enjoy your weekend, party hard and I'll see you on Monday with more new tracks.

N0ZTRADAM'IAN Prescription 12: Throwback Tunes - Tempo turnup, move fast

Whats up, welcome back to the posts, today is a thursday so we get to travel back into the past to some fantastic slightly used tunes. Today isnt themed so we have a large variety of genres to sample as well as some huge producers to discover. Lets get right into it:

"SLVR" - Steve Angello vs Matisse & Sadko {Progressive House}
-Released as a single [SIZE Records]

"Beautiful Life" - Armin Van Buuren (ft Cindy Alma) {Trance}
-Released with Intense [Armada Music B.V. / Sony Music Entertainment Canada Inc]

"Alienz" - DallasK {Electro House}
-Released as a single [Kindergarten Records]

"Close" - Drumsound & Bassline Smith {Drum & Bass}
-Released with the UKF Drum & Bass 2011 EP [UKF Music]

"Lonely Soul" - Direct {Chillout}
-Released with Monstercat 014 - Discovery [Monstercat]

And there we have it a huge variety of electronic songs from the not so distant past, lets talk why these are here.

One of the three members of the SHM Steve Angello can do no wrong, as is definitely shown by the existence of this track. With great melodies and buildups as well as an amazing on your feet tempo SLVR is definitely a huge club track. Making anyone bob their head or raise their hands this track hit the top of beatport when it was released and continues to be amazing.

Continuing with big names we move onto Armin Van Buurens Beautiful life, an amazing vocal trance track. It delivers on everything Armin is well known for and has an amazing melody and beat, a huge track.

Onto Alienz by DallasK, this track caught my interest when I first saw it on a mix and noted down its name. With a wonderful synthed piano melody and steady buildup Alienz is superb at mixing a chill melody with a high tempo beat.

Close takes Alienz's tempo even further to the dnb speed, it also has great vocals. But the big thing about this track is the crazy beat and racing melody intensified by wonderful drum work. The spells of slow tempo definitely add to the song but it does well to exercise our ears and legs if you have the energy to match its tempo.

And finally we end today with a chillout track, fitting as we slowly increased the energy of our songs. Lonely Soul was another standout mix track that I found online. Its mix of chill melodies and vocals added to the piano and beat make it a definite keeper on my top 100 list. (Not that that list exists.. yet) Its a great song to end today or even start tomorrow.

Speaking of tomorrow, we have more new tracks to get to you so see you then.

N0ZTRADAM'IAN Prescription 11: Throwback Tunes - Pegboard Riot

Whats up all, welcome back to the show. Today we take a look at some of my favorite glitch/dubstep producers the Pegboard Nerds and Virtual Riot. Today's post celebrates some of their excellent songs and remixes. So here we go...

"High Roller" - Pegboard Nerds (ft Splitbreed) {Trap / Dubstep}
-Released on their Guilty Pleasures EP [Monstercat]

"Disconnected" - Pegboard Nerds {Electro}
-Released on Monstercat 007 - Solace [Monstercat]

"Far Too Close" - J. Viewz (Pegboard Nerds remix) {Moombahcore}
-Released the Far Too Close (Remixes) EP [Little Notes]

"Haunted" - Virtual Riot {Moombahcore}
-Released with There Goes Your Money [Valentin Brunn]

"Energy Drink" - Virtual Riot {Electro}
-Released for free on Soundcloud, get it now

There we go some great songs from these two fine electronic producers. Hopefully you get into their unique styles, but for now lets talk about why these tracks are great.

High Roller is an interesting track with elements of trap and dubstep infused with vocal snippets and a pretty awesome chorus. The vocals also are pretty great.

Off of that trap song we transition into an upbeat and bouncing electro track. Disconnected is on this list mainly because of its awesome melodies and breakdowns, truly a great track.

The remix of Far Too Close brings together the original vocals and beat with great synths and electronic melodies. The chorus is also superbly remixed and made into a dope drop. (sorry)

With one of the most interesting openings on an electronic track, Haunted really stands out against some of the other songs I've posted here. It does bring in an interesting dubstep like sound it also combines great vocals and sweet melodies. The drops are also amazing.

A subtle and entrancing track, Energy Drink has a great beat and a very awesome electronic melody attached to its heart. The track is overall very bouncy and if I must say contains tons of energy.

And there we have it, some tracks from my favorite dubstep and moombahcore artists. So with nothing else to say I'll just go with, see you on thursday.
