N0ZTRADAM'IAN Prescription 42: THE FINAL THROWBACK EVER - Razihel rounds out the series

And here it is, final post carrying the throwback tunes name ever. It is a sad day, but also a day that opens up the possibility of new things... indeed. Anyway enough of the gush, today we feature artist Razihel for the final throwback feature ever. Lets get into it:

"Toothless Hawkins (And His Robot Jazz Band)" - Varien & Razihel {Glitch Hop}
-Released as a single [Monstercat]

"Castlevania" - Razihel, Wap & Alvino {Electro House}
-Released for free on Soundcloud, grab it now.

"Homesick" - Razihel (ft Dave Revan) {Dubstep}
-Released for free on Soundcloud, grab it now.

"NZT48" - I See Stars (Razihel remix) {Electro House}
-Released with I See Stars Renegade Forever EP [Sumerian Records]

"One For All, All For One" - Razihel & Virtual Riot {Dubstep}
-Released as a single [Monstercat]

OK and now for the last ever talk about tunes for throwback posts lets talk:

First up we have Toothless Hawkins (And His Robot Jazz Band) (quite a mouthful) by Varien and Razihel. Its got an old timey feel to it mixed in with a glitchy dubstep exterior. I have to love the vocal samples and the fun melodies that cut through the bass. Its definitely an interesting tune, if not odd.

Moving on to Castlevania for which Razihel collaborated with Wap and Alvino. Using some great melodies and superb beat they create a very unique buildup and an amazing drop/breakdown. It even gives some hardstyle beats for those who like that kinda stuff.

Next is an aery, euphoric, glitchy dubstep track titled Homesick featuring Dave Revan. I like the vocals, love the glitchy melodies and nod my head to the drops that come from almost nowhere in this song. Razihel has a unique style of glitch hop like melodies that I really enjoy, but he also has a huge range genre wise.

Continuing on we have a remix of a heavy metal track called NZT48 by I See Stars remixed by Razihel (of course). You can easily get a sense of the metal through the vocals but I love how Razihel uses those awesome vocals to build an exquisite electro house track out of. I remember this being played a lot by myself a year ago.

Our final tune today is One For All, All For One by Razihel and Virtual Riot. I love the chip tune melodies and glitchy overall feel, plus one can't discount the crazy drop that goes beyond your normal dubstep drop. I love the way they incorporate the glitchy melody throughout the entire tune, it really pulls this song together.

And with that we end this series, hopefully you enjoyed a look into the past and found some interesting music along the way. As for the rest of this blog, new music posts will come up every Monday and Friday as usual but the other days may soon see some new content appear. We'll see this Thursday, I may go over my favorite tracks from this series in one post (hmm). But other than that see you in two days.

N0ZTRA out, listen well.

N0ZTRADAM'IAN Prescription 41: Trap today? - Galantis, Flosstradamus, Duck Sauce, Fei Fei and Clockwork hit the list.

Incoming 12 o'clock post, hopefully no one really cares. Today is another start to a wonderful week of new electronic music, its also the week of throwback finales. Tomorrow is the last throwback and then I'll premiere something new to this blog. As for today, we have tunes from Galantis, Flosstradamus, Duck Sauce, Topher Jones, Fei Fei, Dimitri Vangelis and Clockwork. Lets get into it:

"Smile" - Galantis {Electronic}
-Released as single [Big Beat Records / WEA International]

"Original Don" - Major Lazer (Flosstradamus remix) {Trap}
-Released for free on Soundcloud, grab it now.

"Its You" - Duck Sauce (FREE FRINKZ X FootwoRk remix) {Trap}
-Released for free on Soundcloud, grab it now.

"Talk About It" - Topher James (ft Katie Sky) {Progressive House}
-Released as a single [Ultra Music]

"YOU" - Fei Fei & Jessie Andrews {Disco Trap}
-Released for free on Soundcloud, grab it now.

"Silver Sun" - Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman (ft Anna Yvette) (Lights 2013 Anthem) {Progressive House}
-Released as a single [Columbia (Sony)]

"Blitz" - Clockwork {Electro House}
-Released as a single [Dim Mak Records]

Ok lets talk about why I'm crazy enough to put three, count em, three trap songs on this post. Check that out below.

First on the list is the new single from never before seen Galantis, this one called Smile. The tune effortlessly merges harmonious vocals with some awesome melodies and beats. I do admit that I might be listening to this track for some time in the future. I just love how big and airy it sounds. So Smile...

And of course the next thing that I should post is a hardcore trap song.. wait what. Yes indeed this next one is Original Don by Major Lazer remixed by one of my favorite trap artists Flosstradamus. I seem to be on a trap binge so this is what you get, its a good tune with some interesting trap elements.

Next up is a remix of eccentric duo Duck Sauce's Its You, remixed and trapified by FREE DRINKZ and FootwoRk. I like the original but for this list I went with the weird trappy version, but I do implore you to check out Duck Sauce's wacky sounds.

Moving on to something more traditional, a track by Topher Jones featuring Katie Sky called Talk About It. I feel like I've heard this before somewhere, I love the vocals and the cool house melodies. Its got a killer chorus breakdown and of course Katie does a great job bringing in the vocal aspect.

Onto another trap song, this one is light and euphoric though. Called YOU and created by Fei Fei and Jessie Andrews its got a classic dance feel to it. I love the vocals and the melodies, they really make the tune.

Next up is Silver Sun by Dimitri Vangelis and Wyman featuring Anna Yvette. I love the melodies and the beats throughout the entire tune. And of course Anna Yvette makes the tune sound just that much better, gotta love that chorus.

And last but not least is a new-ish track by Clockwork, called Blitz. I like the big house vibe, the huge melodies and the great beat. Getting ready for this is also a nice touch, Clockwork always has some nice breakdowns.

And that's that for today's post, I'll be back tomorrow for the final throwback tunes post of... ever, It'll be a sad day. The post tomorrow features tunes from Razihel, so come check out that. Then on Thursday we have something, I don't really know, haven't figured it out yet so.... And on Friday is another Friday Night Beats post, to get you prepped for the weekend festivities. Well then see you tomorrow.

N0ZTRA out, listen well.

N0ZTRADAM'IAN Prescription 40: Friday Night Beats - Dirtyphonics, Deadmau5, R3hab, Nervo & Ummet Ozcan and The Partysquad

Welcome back for the final time this week. Today's Friday so hopefully these tunes help you get your weekend started. Today we have tunes from Dirtyphonics, Deadmau5, Garmiani, R3hab, Nervo & Ummet Ozcan, Erik Arbores, Clockwork and The Partysquad. Lets get into it:

"Hanging On Me" - Dirtyphonics (ft Liela Moss) (Borgore & Ookay remix) {Hard Dance}
-Released with Hanging On Me (ft Liela Moss) [Remixes] [Dim Mak Records]

"Suckfest 9001" - Deadmau5 {Progressive House}
-Released with We Are Friends. Vol 2 [Moustrap]

"Rumble" - Garmiani {Electro House}
-Released with his Rumble EP [Dim Mak Records]

"Revolution" - R3hab, NERVO & Ummet Ozcan {Electro House}
-Released as a single [SPINNIN Records]

"Get Ready" - Erik Arbores {Electro House}
-Released as a single [SPINNIN Records]

"Oh My" - The Partysquad & Boaz Van De Beatz {Trap}
-Released as a single [Rebel Yard]

"War" - Jack Beats (ft Example & Diplo) (Clockwork remix) {Electro House}
-Released with Jack Beats Remixed, Vol. 2 [OWSLA]

Okay lets talk about this stuff:

First up we have Hanging On Me by Dirtyphonics, this one is remixed by Borgore and Ookay. While I may not fully love the hard dance beats that they use I do enjoy the way they played with the vocals and melody. If you enjoy melodies and vocals this fits for you and if you cant listen to a track without heavy hard beats this also provides. Its a best of both worlds.

One of Deadmau5's newest tracks hits this blog, this one is called Suckfest 9001. Even if your not a fan of Deadmau5 you have to give him props for hitting the right tunes. His style is unique and he is one of the only artists now that still sticks to his techno like melodies. And for that he gets his dues from me, also the song is great.

Starting off beat focused but eventually hitting its melodic excellence next up we have Rumble from Garmiani. Once you hit the first melody you should understand why this is here, its simply huge and wonderful. I love the melody (obviously) and also gotta give respect to the beats. A well made song overall.

Currently this song is number 1 on the Beatport Top 10 and for good reason. Its called Revolution and its by R3hab, NERVO and Ummet Ozcan. I love the beats and breakdowns as well as that one underlying melody. Its a great song and definitely deserves its place at the top.

Next up is another great melodic and vocal track by Erik Arbores, called Get Ready. I love the buildup melodies, the vocal sample at the drop and the way he mixes together his breakdowns. Its all so well put together, I just love the entire tune, it has a huge party feel as well.

Next in line we have the days sole trap feature, called Oh My by The Partysquad and Boaz. I gotta love the vocals and that beginning melody/beat combo, plus the trap synth after the drop is crazy. Its literally nuts that someone would do that, which makes it so great. I smile every time I hear this song drop.

And finally we have War by Jack Beats remixed by Clockwork. I love the vocal samples as well as the melodies and beats that push this song along. Its an interesting remix that caught my ear, hopefully you enjoy it.

And that's all for today, hopefully you have a awesome Friday night and an amazing weekend, I'll be back on Monday with another new tunes post. Also go and check out my new Weekly Prescription 8 Tracks mix, that comes out (surprisingly) weekly on the weekend. After that on Tuesday we have our last Throwback Tunes post, featuring Razihel.

N0ZTRADAM'IAN Prescription 39: Throwback Tunes - Rameses B gets his spotlight

Welcome to the 2nd last throwback tunes post of all time. Next Tuesday's post seals the deal for this series and opens the book on a new phase of posting. Today is special, Today's post is all about Rameses B, one of my all time favorite Glitch Hop artists. To say I'm a huge fan is an understatement, if you happen to enjoy his stuff go out and support him. Apart from that lets hear some glitch:

"Boat" - Zoe Phillips (Rameses B remix) {Chillout}
-Released for free on Soundcloud, grab it now.

"Bits & Bytes" - Rameses B {Glitch Hop}
-Released with his album Observe & Imitate [Dirt, Lies & Audio Recordings]

"Every Cloud" - Rameses B {Chillout}
-Released for free on Soundcloud, grab it now.

"To Galaxy" - Rameses B {Ramstep}
-Released for free on Soundcloud, grab it now.

"Tumble" - Rameses B {Drum & Bass}
-Released with Observe & Imitate [Dirt, Lies & Audio Recordings]

"Pulsefire Ezreal" - Rameses B {Melodic Glitch Hop}
-Released for free on Soundcloud, grab it now.

He has a new album out called Timeless, I suggest if you enjoy his stuff go and check it out. Now lets talk why these songs are so great.

One of his newer tracks, a remix of Boat by Zoe Phillips, continues his trend of mastery with the melodic vocal glitch hop. I want to note the vocals and bring huge attention to the melodies. In my opinion the only person coming remotely close to these epic melodies is Flume (who got his own throwback post as well). The melodies are so original and awesome, superbly made.

Moving away from euphoric chillout melodies we have a relatively old track of his, Bits & Bytes. Staying in tune with its name the track has a very glitch hop traditional feel to it. I love the vocal samples and I have to note the cool melodies, an awesome track overall.

This was the first track I ever heard from Rameses B, I found that Every Cloud was so amazing I literally searched and listened to all the music he had conceived of up to that point. I love the relaxing tempo and the awesome movement of the melodies with the beat. The minimalistic vocals are also superb and add tons of euphoric power to the track. As well as they pass on the meaning behind the track, which you can find out about by checking out his YouTube video on it.

Woah a dubstep track, yes indeed, this one called To Galaxy and its Rameses B's remix of Halo 4 To Galaxy. I love the vocal samples and the amazing drop. It seems Rameses B isn't only proficient at glitch hop and melodic vocal tracks. I must say that at 1:07 when the drop hits, I get chills and I find I really also enjoy the breakdown at 2:58.

Next up is a very fast tempo drum and bass track by the name of Tumble. I love the way he mixes together his moving bassline and those excellent melodies. Gotta also give props for an awesome breakdown, duly noted by the vocal sample.

Now this last song is for fans of the online massively multiplayer game League Of Legends. Rameses was the one to create the theme music for one of the games "champions" when the game developers released a purchasable package that players could buy with the "Ezreal". Getting beyond that, I love the sound of the song and again must point out the awesome melodies. Just a note, the vocal samples are actually taken from the game and are also pretty nice.

And so with that we have a nice view of Rameses B and his style and awesome song creation. Go check him out and support him at Soundcloud or facebook/twitter. Hopefully you enjoyed this throwback tunes post, its a dying breed, remember only one left. Next Tuesdays post is gonna be all about Razihel, another one of my favorite artists. Other than that see you tomorrow and check out my new 8 Tracks mixes, coming out weekly.

N0ZTRA out, listen well.

N0ZTRADAM'IAN Prescription 38: Throwback Tunes - Huge hits from the past: David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia, Avicii, Skrillex and Baauer

Welcome to the third last throwback tunes post here on Electric Polar Bear. Today's post features music from some of the biggest artists and chronicles the biggest hits from earlier this year. We have songs from David Guetta, huge tracks from Swedish House Mafia, an Avicii track, a song from Skrillex and a Baauer remix. Lets dive right in:

"Play Hard" - David Guetta (ft Ne-Yo) {Progressive House}
-Released on Play Hard (Remixes) [What A Music]

"Don't You Worry Child" - Swedish House Mafia (ft John Martin) {Progressive House}
-Released as a single [Virgin UK]

"Levels" - Avicii {Progressive House}
-Released with his Levels EP [LE7ELS]

"Ruffneck (Full Flex)" - Skrillex {Dubstep}
-Released with More Monsters And Sprites [Big Beat Records]

"Save The World" - Swedish House Mafia {Progressive House}
-Released as a single [Virgin]

"You And Me" - Disclosure (ft Eliza Doolittle) (Baauer remix) {Trap}
-Released with UKF Live [UKF]

And there we have it, not gonna say a lot about these tracks because you should know why most of them are excellent. Just a note on some stuff, If you live under a rock and haven't heard Swedish House Mafia, made up of Axwell, Sebastion Ingrosso and Steve Angello, are no longer together. So unless they team up again we will never see another Swedish House Mafia hit. And that's mainly it.

Hopefully you enjoyed this walk down memory lane, looking at some big hits from the past year. On Thursdays throwback tunes post we feature music from my all time favorite glitch hop and melodic chillout artist Rameses B. And for our final throwback tunes post on Tuesday of next week we have a post dedicated to Razihel and some of his friends. Then after that I'll have to find some content to fill in the gaps, dunno what it is yet but we'll see once we reach it.

Anyways hopefully you enjoyed the music, I'll see you back here on thursday for that glitch hop post.

To satisfy your music addiction today's post includes new music from Hardwell, Don Diablo, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Thomas Gold, Dannic, Sick Individuals,Tom Staar and Promised Land. Lets get right into it:

"Dare You" - Hardwell (ft Matthew Koma) {Progressive House}
-Released as a single [Revealed Recordings]

"Starlight (Could You Be Mine)" - Don Diablo & Matt Nash (Otto Knows remix) {Progressive House}
-Released as a single [Axtone Records]

"STAMPEDE" - Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike vs DVBBS & Borgeous {Electro House}

"Staars" - Tom Staar (ft In Atlanta) {Progressive House}
-Released as a single [SPINNIN Records]

"Bad DJ" - Promise Land {Electro House}
-Released as a single [Size Records]

This is a huge post, tons of new tracks from some of my favorite artists out there. If there was any post I would want you to listen to this is the one. Lets go over why these tracks are so awesome.

You may have noticed this went up on the Top DJ's page and is now appearing here. The number 1 DJ in the world Hardwell's newest track Dare You featuring Matthew Koma is giant. Continuing with his new sound as of late, this new track has great vocals humongous melodies and a beat to die for. Its also currently 3rd on beatport.

Next up is a remix of one of my all time favorite tracks Starlight (Could You Be Mine) by Don Diablo remixed by Otto Knows. Keeping the things that made the original amazing and adding in some excellent new melodies this remix definitely deserves its chops. Its taken on a whole new level of awesomeness with this remix, well done Otto Knows.

Released today, STAMPEDE follows up Tsunami for DVBBS & Borgeous but this time adds in Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike to the mix. Currently known for their unbelievably heavy beats STAMPEDE definitely doesn't disappoint. I love the melodies and have to nod my head to the devastating bassline and beat.

 Leaving the land of dangerous beats we move back to vocal dance music. This next track is Remember by Thomas Gold featuring Kaelyn Behr. With rousing vocals an amazing melody and a beautiful breakdown this track is quickly becoming one of my favorites. It has almost everything in a nice and tidy package.

This is the next thing from Sick Individuals off of their colab with Axwell and this time they team up with Dannic. This track is called Blueprint and ignoring the bad pun this one is another to remember. It has great beats, some surprisingly cool melodies and a very well created bassline. Plus its vocal samples are pretty cool.

The newest track from Tom Staar featuring In Atlanta is gonna be big in the near future. Called Staars (where did they come up with that) it has great vocals, a nice blend of melodies and a beat that pulls it all together, I'll be listening to it for a while that's for sure.

Finally we have Bad DJ from Promised Land, which is somewhat the oddity to this bunch. I love the vocal sample, enjoy the beats and like the way the song progresses and builds. It will probably show itself sometime in the future.

And there we have it, 7 huge new tracks to get you ready for the upcoming week. Tomorrow we have our third last throwback tunes post and it includes big stuff that you most likely will remember. See you then.

-Released as a single [Smash The House]

And there we have it, I think I may begin to shorten these commentaries.Slightly, we'll see about it. Anyway lets get into it.

First up is a track from mysterious RL Grime, this ones called Because Of You. Another trap song hits this blog. This one is great because of the vocals and the melodies that it uses.

Next up is a remix of Embrace by Goldroom done by Fei Fei. I love how trippy this song sounds, the vocals are perfect and Fei Fei creates a great atmosphere with her great melodies.

Hey another vocal track that has really great vocals. My Friends Never Die by ODESZA continues the trippy song trend. It has awesome vocal samples and some huge melodies.

Next up is a track by UK dubstep artist Flux Pavilion, its called I Can't Stop. It has amazing vocals and one heck of a drop. And its perfectly timed as well, a wonderful track.

Then on the deck we have a remix of RIP by Rita Ora done by Delta Heavy. Again a song with great vocals and some interesting melodies. I find it also has a particularly nice breakdown.

Next is another track with a huge bassline, YLB by Sidney Samson & Leroy Styles. This one has a very interesting vocal sample, just wait for it.

Released this week our final track is GIPSY by Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike featuring The Boostedkids. I love the flute melody and the way the track evolves out of it. Its a great tune.

And that's all folks, enjoy your weekend and I will see you on Monday with another set of new electronic tracks.

N0ZTRADAM'IAN Prescription 35: Throwback Tunes - Some Hard Rock Sofa, DJ fresh, Mr Fijiwiji and Touch Sensitive

Welcome back to another throwback tunes post, today we have a rag tag grouping of tunes from the recent past. Some choices include tracks by Hard Rock Sofa, DJ Fresh, Mr Fijiwiji and Touch Sensitive.

"Collapsar" - Hard Rock Sofa & Dirty Shade {Electro House}
-Released as a single [SPINNIN Records]

"Cynical" - Mr FijiWiji (ft CoMa) {Chillout}
-Released as a single [Monstercat]

"Gold Dust" - DJ Fresh (ft Ce'Cile) {Electronic}
-Released with Gold Dust (Feat Ce'Cile) - EP [Ministry Of Sound Recordings Ltd]

"Pizza Guy" - Touch Sensitive (Lauer remix) {Electronic}
-Released with Pizza Guy/Show Me [Future Classic]

"Rasputin" - Hard Rock Sofa {Progressive House}
-Released as a single [Axtone]

Whoa this is some old stuff, slightly old at the very least. Lets talk why these tracks are great.

First up is Collapsar by Hard Rock Sofa, this track has a sick bassline and has a huge dance floor tune vibe. In my opinion Hard Rock Sofa's buildups are superb and this track is evidence of such. Not only that but they also hit the breakdown very well in both this and Rasputin. Speaking of that, their next song here is Rasputin. Almost all buildup, it manages to keep the tension rising and has a devastation drop at the end of that long road.

Moving seamlessly from hard bassline dance to chillout we next have Cynical by Mr fijiWiji featuring CoMa on vocals. Can you guess why I love this song... those vocals are brilliant. Not to mention the way the melody mixes in with CoMa's beautifully haunting vocals.Perfect.

Jeez I'm all over the place today, from chillout to a disco inspired upbeat tune, wow. Here we have Gold Dust by DJ Fresh, of Earthquake fame. I love the vocals and the way they play of the high tempo disco-like beat. Its a great track.

And finally we have Pizza Guy by Touch Sensitive remixed by Lauer. I found this off of Flume's Soundcloud and found I loved the way it felt. It has a great euphoric melody and feel to it, why not listen to it all the way through.

There you have it, one of the last throwback tunes. Only three more to go until a switch in the lineup. Anyway all done here for today, see you tomorrow with another new tunes post, until then.

N0ZTRA out, listen well.

N0ZTRADAM'IAN Prescription 34: Throwback Tunes - All About Flume

Welcome back to the prescription, sorry about that missed post yesterday. This post may be late but you'll still get the music greatness that you would have gotten yesterday, just one day later. Today is all about Flume, the Australian superstar who has in my opinion one of the most unique styles. Lets check it out:

"Holdin On" - Flume {Electronica}
-Released with his self named album Flume [Future Classic]

"Star Eyes" - Flume {Flume step}
-As above

"Warm Thoughts" - Flume {Flume step}
-As above

"Hyperparadise" - Hermitude (Flume Remix) {Electronica}
-Released with Hermitudes Parallel Paradise EP [Elefant Tracks]

"More Than You Thought" - Flume {Flume step}
-Released with Flume's newest album Flume (Deluxe Edition) [Mom + Pop]

"The Greatest View" - Flume (ft Isabella Manfredi) {Symphonic}
-As above

I'm not gonna write to much so I don't sully the music. Just listen and enjoy.

Holdin On was huge when It came out and it officially introduced me to the artist. Star Eye's is one of the trippiest tracks I've heard ever, it goes beyond what he usually puts forward. Warm Thoughts feels to me exactly as the title suggests, it has an oddly warm feeling to it and is really calming, unsurprisingly. Hyperparadise has already appeared on this blog but I feel its necessary to post it up again, its that good. Just a note as well it was actually the first Flume song I've ever heard, I heard it in the LIC Adventure Club mix I posted up a few posts ago, at the time I hadn't heard of the artist. More Than You Thought was the first track I heard from his deluxe album offering and I found myself loving it. And finally another deluxe edition track The Greatest View is also a wonderful track, this time with a vocal track as well.

Other than that, I emplor you to check him out, he's one of the most unique artists I've ever had the pleasure of listening to and if you don't think so maybe take another listen. Coming close to the end of throwback tunes posts so look out for something new soon. And I'll see you tomorrow for another throwback.

N0ZTRA out, listen well.

N0ZTRADAM'IAN Prescription 33: Deorro, Dank, Djemba Djemba & London Future + Aoki, Heldens and Romera hit the list

Ahh welcome back off of the weekend, today we have another new tunes post to whet your appetite for a week of electronic tunes. This post has music from Deorro, London Future x Djemba Djemba, Steve Aoki, Dank, Oliver Heldens and Tony Romero. Lets get right into it:

"Crank It Up" - Deorro {Electro House}
-Released with his Play EP [Dim Mak Records]

"Look At Me Now" - London Future & Djemba Djemba (ft Ifa Sayo) {Trap}
-Released as a single [Mad Decent]

"Ladi Dadi" - Steve Aoki (ft Wynter Gordon) (Tommy Trash remix) {House}
-Released with Ladi Dadi - Remixes EP [Ultra Records]

"Wonder Child" - Dank (Dank's Festival VIP remix) {Electro House}
-Released as a single [Ultra Records]

"Homecoming" - Kanye West (ft Notorious BIG & Jay Z) (Dank's Rump Wit Me remix) {Dubstep}
-Released for free on Soundcloud, get it now.

"Onyva" - Oliver Heldens (ft Alvar & Millas) {Electro House}
-Released as a single [Oxygen]

"Drakarta" - Tony Romera {Progressive House}
-Released as a single [Flamingo Recordings]

Lets get into it:

First up is Crank It Up by Deorro, an electro house song that I primarily enjoy for its use of a specific melody. I enjoy the melody that contains the violin and since Deorro managed to mix together that excellent melody with a hard beat and a banging bassline this song is here.

Another vocal trap song hits the blog, this time its brought to us by London Future & Djemba Djemba. The excellent vocals are provided by Ifa Sayo. I love the vocals but not only that but I also find myself enjoying the hard beat and typical trap melody as well. My head is nodding as I listen to it right now, odd.

Steve Aoki gets a little trashed with this Tommy Trash remix of Ladi Dadi. The remix manages to encompass the giant beats that Aoki generally churns out but also the type of tracks that Trash is known for as well. Plus as usual the vocals cant deter from the whole package.

Onto Dank and his two featured tracks on this post today, first up is Wonder Child. I decided to put up the Festival VIP remix because I enjoyed it a bit more than the original. I love the vocals (lets just get that out of the way) and the way he progresses the song through his beat and multiple melodies. The next of his two tracks here is a remix of Kanye West's Homecoming, appropriately called Dank's Rump Wit Me remix. This track manages to keep all the good stuff from Homcoming and adds a huge drop and pretty crazy breakdown melodies and beats. I tip my figurative hat to him for making such a clearly defined song this crazy, I love it.

This ones been sitting around on my lists for some time now, listed under Bangers. And that's exactly what it is, Onyva by Oliver Heldens starts out slow and melodic but builds up to a massive punch in the face beat fest. On big speakers this may hurt just a bit, just the way some of us love it.

Finally we have Drakarta by Tony Romera, by this time I've already said melody to much so I'll stick to other words. I enjoy its beat, the song has a great bassline and I love the way the individual musical notes come together to form a sweeping audio landscape.

And there we have it, hopefully you enjoyed this surprisingly unusual bunch of musical choices today. I seem to be deviating from my usual melodic house choices for an emphasis on random genres. Lets see how it progresses. See you tomorrow for my All About Flume throwback post.

"Hot Steppa" - Mike Hawkins, Henry Fong & Toby Green {Electro House}
-Released as a single [SPINNIN Records]

There we go a veritable grab bag of edm tunes to satisfy your cravings, now lets talk.

First up is a trap tune from artist What So Not, High You Are remixed by Branchez. I particularly like this remix and original because of its excellent blend of vocals and melodies. You may have noticed that I'm a fan of melodic vocal trap and this track is an excellent example of why. Plus its really trippy perfect for a chilling out mood.

Next up is some uplifting trance by Damian Wasse, a song called Crossroads. I love the euphoric feel of this track, it has huge melodies and superbly mixes those melodies with its trance beats. Another (relatively) chill song before we hit the bangers for today.

Moving right on into a Cazzette and The Killers tune called Shot At Night. This track is great because it combines the unique vocal style of The Killers with Cazzette's well deserved electronic mixing skills. I personally love the chorus breakdown, its truly beautiful.

Ah Axwell hits us in the face with another masterpiece (when will this guy calm down) with Center Of The Universe, this one is remixed by Blinders. With great vocals, huge beats and a wonderful melody this one is just as promising as his latest productions. If he keeps pumping out tracks like these I definitely wont mind.

Onto Route 94 with My Love, a track with a very disco feel to it. I love the piano melody and the vocals that blend together so perfectly. I've had this one sitting on my list for some time and I just feel like now is the perfect time to post it up.

Another track by Rudimental makes this list, this one is called Not Giving In and it features John Newman and Alex Clare. What can I say about this track, it has John Newman on vocals, Rudimental's instrumental melodies appear in it and its so chill. This song is the bomb, I'd suggest listening to it again.

And finally Hot Steppa from Mike Hawkins, Henry Fong and Toby Green. I've been waiting for this to come out so I could post it up, that's how much I enjoy this track. I looove the melody that comes right off of the breakdown and to tell you the truth I find myself smiling at that ridiculous vocal sample.

There we go, hopefully this will satisfy your addiction until Monday, when we have another new tune post. Enjoy your weekend and I will see you all on Monday.

N0ZTRADAM'IAN Prescription 31: Throwback Tunes - Marc Benjamin & Packsi + LIC Adventure Club mix

Welcome back to another daily prescription, for today's throwback tunes post we have tracks by Marc Benjamin and Packsi as well as a mix by Adventure Club, on of my favorites. Two artists who I happened upon quite some time ago and enjoyed their unique styles very much. Packsi is relatively unknown so go check out his other tunes.

"Superstuff" - Marc Benjamin {Progressive House}
-Released with his Surrender EP [Mixmash Records]

"Games" - Marc Benjamin {Progressive House}
-Released with Dim Mak Records New Noise, Vol 3 [Dim Mak Records]

"Scrooge" - Packsi {Dubstep}
-Released for free on Soundcloud, get it now.

"Aeri" - Packsi {Melodic Glitch Hop}
-Released for free by DMT, can be found off of the Soundcloud page.

"Life In Color Mix" - Adventure Club (Music from many others) {Electronic}
-Released for free on Soundcloud, check out the track listings there as well.

Okay lets go over why these two artists truly deserve to be featured on this post.

Superstuff by Marc Benjamin, the melodies are epic and they coexist well with his moving beats. He also always puts in a really nice breakdown in most of his tracks that flow perfectly back out into those great melodies.

The same can be said with Games, I love the melody, it just makes this track so replayable. The way his breakdown works with that melody is unbelievable. I remember listening to this track maybe for weeks on end quite some time ago. And looking back on it now, the song still has that superb song quality.

Moving right on to Packsi, a Canadian who creates wonderful dubstep tracks, such as this one, Scrooge. Although it seems like a Christmas song I would see myself playing it anytime I'm in the mood for some glitchy dubstep. The melodies are great, the drop is superb and the beat wraps up the whole package in a nice bow, just for Christmas.

Next up is Aeri, a glitch hop track by Packsi. Let me just get this out of the way, glitch hop is by far one of my favorite genres in electronic music so this track hits a soft spot with me. In my opinion its all about the melodies and Packsi doesn't disappoint with his amazing melodies, so much variation its jaw dropping. Not to mention the breakdown halfway through the song, very well done by this superb artist.

And finally here's a blast from the past for me, the Life In Color minimix by Adventure Club. I remember listening to this thing constantly whenever I had no tunes playing, whether I was working or just surfing the internet. I love how they managed to choose the most euphoric blend of songs I've ever heard. For a melody junkie like myself this masterpiece is heaven. Go ahead listen to the whole thing, I find its hard to stop after the first track comes on, good luck.

5 more throwbacks to do before we transition into a new format, this post was enjoyable. We are getting into the tunes that made me transition to my love of electronic music and its really awesome to hear all this stuff again. I hope you enjoyed as much as I did, see you tomorrow with a flurry of new tunes to satisfy your addiction.

N0ZTRADAM'IAN Prescription 30: Throwback Tunes - Basshunter tunes, Deadmau5, Sander Van Doorn and some Adventure Club

Welcome back, just a little overview of today. We head back to the days when Basshunter realeased his hit songs, we grab some deadmau5, groove with Adventure club and also show some Sander Van Doorn.

"All I Ever Wanted" - Basshunter {Trance}
-Released with his album All I Ever Wanted [Ultra Records]

"Channel 42" - Deadmau5 & Wolfgang Gartner {Electro House}
-Released with Channel 42 (Remixes) EP [Ultra Records]

"Now You're Gone" - Basshunter {Trance}
-Released as a single [Ultra Records]

"Marry The Night" - Lady Gaga (Sander Van Doorn remix) {Electronic}
-Released with Gaga's Marry The Night (Remixes) EP [Interscoper Records]

"Do I See Color" - Adventure Club {Dubstep Electronic}
-Free download on Soundcloud, get it now.

Okay so this post has some oldies on it, oldies but goodies, lets start with Basshunter. Both tunes are absolute classics, he has one of the most unique sounds in the entire industry. I was listening to these songs even before I knew what electronic music was and they still stick with me. I would have to say that its the combination of the vocals and the sweeping orchestral melodies that create the staying power. The beat that accompanies all his breakdowns also helps.

We move on to an entirely different sound with Channel 42 by Deadmau5 & Wolfgang Gartner. I love the melody right off of the opening, its a great showing of what can be created with electro synths. Deadmau5 gets in his synth work and Wolfgang can be seen in the beat and bass work.

Next up is a remix of Marry The Night by Lady Gaga done by Sander Van Doorn. Keeping the vocals from the original and forcing the tempo up Doorn really makes this song pop. He also adds in some great melodies, of which I'm always a fan of.

We end the night with some Adventure Club, namely Do I See Color. Speaking of unique sounds, get a load of this track. I love Adventure Clubs melody work, its truly some of the best stuff, I don't really how they do it but the voices are beyond awesome. Plus the fact that this is actually a dubstep song is pretty sweet.

And there we have it, another late night post but whatever. See you on thursday for the 6th last throwback post. Nearly done next Tuesday's post is all about Flume get amped.

"Pillz" - Flosstradamus & Yellow Claw (ft Green Velvet) {Trap}

-Released with their Settle EP [PMR (UIR Ltd)]

"Can't Stop" - Moguai (ft Niles Mason) {Electric House}
-Released as a single [SPINNIN' Records]

Lets talk:

Our first track of the day is The Warrior by Osen & Baha, remixed by Lush & Simon (they've been on here quite a lot recently). The song is surprisingly great, bringing together superb vocals with some excellent prog house melodies and beats. The baseline mixed in with the huge melody is hard to not love.

Ah another Flosstradamus track here, you might have seen this one mention or even posted here earlier, why you ask... well because its friggin crazy. Maintaining the trap beats and melodies as well as adding in some huge beats and electro-style drops is why this song is top quality. As well as that it has a good message, just don't think about those pillz.

This one is so recent it was literally released today, so go out and buy your copy. This song is admirable for its blend of normal electro house beats/melodies. But what makes it special is the breakdown that it has featuring, a huge bass and sweet vocals plus a very dubstep-esque melody.

We move to Sweden for our next song, Petroleum by Jeremy Olander vs Kent. Why is this here, I really couldn't give you a definitive answer I just love the song, maybe its the vocals.

Next up is hard hitting Noise by Qulinez. This track has by far one of the best electro melodies (the one right off of the opening) and has a huge drop that ties the entire track together. Add in a substantial bassline and some cool melodies and you get a great song.

Another frequent visitor to this post is Disclosure, this time they show up with Aluna George with White Noise. Aluna's vocals are on the spot as per usual and the overall deep house melody complements those vocals perfectly. Its also got a superb chorus type breakdown, which sounds very much like a disco mixed with deep house which Disclosure does so well.

And finally we have Moguai (who has been here before) with Can't Stop. Again this track has great vocals ala Niles Mason, an awesome beat and some well deserving melodies. Its a great song to end this post on.

So I'm off to go change the title pictures of all the previous posts, wish me luck. Tomorrow we have another throwback tunes post. Just a note, there will be 7 more throwback tunes before I have to switch off to some other schedule for posting or bring in another post style. Other than that enjoy the music.

"Safe And Sound" - Capital Cities (Dzeko & Torres Digital Dreamin remix) {Progressive House}

Today seems to be the day of remixes lets get right into why these songs are dope.

We start with Dubvision's remix of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike's Chattahoochee, the Tomorrowland anthem. With an awesome set of vocals and the signature melodies that come from the brothers of EDM fame. The two have been releasing awesome songs recently and this one definitely counts as one of them.

We move right on into Dj Carnage's remix of Zatox & Nikkita's Halloween themed song, perfect for this time of year. The haunting vocals mixed together with a heavy beat and the melodies that make trap work create a unique tune. Dj Carnage really created an awesome track with this one.

Onto Icona Pop's newest song remixed by Cash Cash. Cash Cash has had a string of superb remixes recently and they continue the trend with this one. Keeping the vocals that make Icona Pop awesome and adding in some electro house melodies Cash Cash come out with another impressive remix.

Next is Hey Now by Martin Solveig & The Catarac's remixed by Schoolboy. This song is awesome with its superb vocals and amazing melodies.

Wow a pop/dance song remix, this one by One Republic remixed by Dj Politik. Its a bomb song, combining superb vocals from One Republic and melodies and beats produced by Politik.

Another Chase & Status track on this blog, what a surprise. However this time its a track remixed by superstar Steve Angello and it takes C&S's awesome song to the next level. This track Moko's seamless vocals with Chase & Status's great style and then add in Steve Angello's house melodies and the song goes straight into overdrive.

And we end this post with a track by Capital Cities remixed by Dzeko & Torres. I chose this remix out of the rest because Dzeko & Torres just make the track pop. With its awesome vocals and upbeat bassline Safe And Sound is a perfectly realized track.

There we go hopefully you enjoy the tracks posted here, see you on Monday for another new tunes post.
